The policy: This privacy policy is for this website; www.timmaclachlan.co.uk and served by Tim MacLachlan Photography, 153 Viney Avenue Romsey, SO51 7NS and governs the privacy of its users who choose to use it. It explains how the business complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the DPA (Data Protection Act) [pre GDPR enforcement] and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

This policy will explain areas of this website that may affect your privacy and personal details, how the business procesess, collects, manages and stores those details and how your rights under the GDPR, DPA & PECR are adhered to.  Additionally it will explain the use of cookies or software, advertising or commercial sponsorship from third parties and the download of any documents, files or software made available to you (if any) on this website. Further explanations may be provided for specific pages or features of this website in order to help you understand how the business, this website and its third parties (if any) interact with you and your computer / device in order to serve it to you.

The DPA & GDPR May 2018

This website complies with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and acomplies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which comes into effect from May 2018.

Contact & Communication & Personal Information

Users contacting this us through this website do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. The personal information given to this website will not be used for any other purpose other than for the sole purpose of responding to an enquiry for wedding photography services. Once the enquiry has been responded to, the personal information will be deleted.

Clients of Tim MacLachlan Photography who provide personal information when placing a booking will have their information used for the sole purpose for communication for the wedding photography service only. Personal information will be kept private and will not be shared. Personal information will be deleted 6 months after the wedding has taken place. Photographs taken at the wedding will be kept for a period of 2 years in archive if the client loses a copy of their photographs. After this time has elapsed, the photographs will be deleted.

From May 2018 – if a client grants permission for photographs to be displayed on this website, they may in future, at any time, ask for their photographs to be removed from the website.

When it May Be Shared
 
Your personal information will not be shared with any 3rd party, social network, marketing system except for the accounting system for the purpose to raise an invoice and track payments only.
Your wedding photographs may be displayed on the Tim MacLachlan Photography website for promotional purposes only as stated in the Terms & Conditions of booking. However you have the right to ask for your wedding photos not to be used, or removed from the site at any time in the future by letting me know.
Your Right to be Forgotten
 
After the wedding date, you have the right before the Information Retention Period has elapsed, to ask to have all personal information held and photographs to be completed deleted and removed.

Your wedding photographs may be displayed on the Tim MacLachlan Photography website for promotional purposes only as stated in the Terms & Conditions of booking. However you have the right to ask for your wedding photos not to be used, or removed from the site at any time in the future by letting me know
